Kids do NOTHING for your ego, do they? Occasionally, my son (NEVER the girls!) will say I am beautiful or remark that a dress I am wearing is pretty. Those comments are precious, cos they are rare... If it's any consolation, my skin has gone completely haywire. I am blaming peri-menopausal hormones. I blame them for everything... xxxx

Annabel pulled my pants down the other day while I was brushing my teeth and told me that my bottom was very very big. Thank you, my darling. I have your teen years to pay you back.
The other day, my son walked in on me extracting blackheads and said, "Yeah, that's a good idea. You'll want to look pretty for later."

Deletebrooke always tells me how saggy or sad my body parts look. she also points out stray hairs that pop up where they don't belong. she's so helpful
